It is our aim to ensure that nobody is denied the opportunity to experience the wonders of travel in Southern Africa. While the truth is there are still barriers to travel for people with disabilities or certain medical conditions, we seek to overcome as many of these as possible. Our mission is to tailor a safari that gives you the chance to explore and engage with the magic of Southern Africa on your terms.
Everyone experiences Southern Africa in a different way. Your most evocative memory might be from a sound, a smell or a feeling that connects you with this unique environment.
Understanding your needs
Judith has personally worked in the field of accessibility for many years and brings her understanding and experience to each itinerary we create. We know what questions to ask and will go to great lengths to understand your individual needs and requirements so that we can make the necessary arrangements. We work closely with tour operators who specialize in providing accessible accommodations, assistive transportation, medical device support and expertise in making a safari accessible.
Wheelchair users can get to the heart of the bush in specially adapted vehicles, and we’ll be clear about the accessibility of the places you will stay and visit (we know them inside out.) If you have any specific concerns please talk to us, and we will give you an honest and accurate assessment of what you can expect.
